Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate whether or not ADD/ADHD youngsters benefited from taking iron supplements. Between 4% and 12% of school-aged children are diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), a neurobiological syndrome characterized by a persistent pattern of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsive behaviors that, if left untreated, can progress into anxiety and depression in adulthood. This disorder appears to affect roughly the same amount of males and females as adults, however it is more common in youth. For the purpose of providing an explanatory research design, this study employed a mixed research strategy, which makes use of both qualitative and quantitative data and research methods. conclusion Adolescents with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder frequently struggle with low self-esteem, problematic interpersonal interactions, and poor scholastic outcomes. There are occasions in which the symptoms lessen with time. However, ADHD can be a lifelong condition for certain people. However, with guidance and effort, everyone can succeed. Although ADHD treatment cannot completely eradicate the condition, it can considerably alleviate its symptoms. Treatment often consists of a combination of medication and Behavioural therapy. Prompt diagnosis and treatment can significantly improve outcomes.

Non-oil Growth in the GCC: Estimating the Impact of Structural Reforms
Name: Dr. Basel Balila
Assistant Professor- Economics Department-King Abdulaziz University
Email: Bbalila@kau.edu.sa
Abstract
This paper has two parts. The first part investigates the impact of economic structural reforms on non-oil growth in GCC countries by using a general equilibrium model. Four reforms are analyzed: reducing the size of informal employment; reducing fixed cost of entry regulations; increasing access to finance; and deepening equity market. The results indicate that reducing informality in the labor market has the largest positive impact. Also, reducing both fixed cost of entry regulation and informality always increase economic activities whereas financial reforms have a hump shape. The importance of labor market reforms found in part one has led to part two of this paper, which is to investigate GCC labor market even further, particularly, whether wage levels for both nationals and expatriates in GCC countries are aligned with macroeconomic fundamentals. Regression analysis is the method used here. The results indicate that wage levels in the region do not seem to be aligned with economic fundamentals and that wage differentials between nationals and expatriates exist. COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the world economy, including the economies of GCC countries. Therefore, to avoid getting skewed results, this paper will focus on the period prior to the coronavirus pandemic, up until 2019.

Abstract
Islam pays great attention to time, according to which the individual calculates his date of birth, age, and all dates related to his life, and on the basis of it, States calculate the date of their inception, the date of their independence, and other important events. In view of the importance of time in determining the timings upon which many of the shari’a rulings are based and to clarify the verses of Allah the Almighty in this universe, Allah has sworn in its parts in the Quran at the beginnings of several surahs.Time, in this sense, is the criterion on which the calendar is based, and upon which the time of enactment and enforcement of legislations in the State is determined as well as the periods and durations are calculated. In this article, we will discuss the issue of the Christian (Gregorian) calendar and the Islamic (Hijri) calendar in the United Arab Emirates legislations and investigate the possibility of unifying them or dispensing with one of them and being satisfied with only one calendar, especially since most of the UAE legislations, federal and local, have adopted the Christian (Gregorian) calendar as a basis for calculating the periods and durations.

Abstract
Managing diabetes is a lifelong process that requires a lot of work. It is arguable that this individual is the single most important factor in successfully controlling the illness. When diabetes isn’t properly treated, complications tend to worsen. Therefore, it’s necessary to take medication as advised. Poor adherence is a problem for patients and healthcare providers. This study aimed to assess the attitudes held by pharmacists, as well as their roles in the management of diabetes, and to identify the pharmacy services that are currently offered to patients who have diabetes. systematic review looks at the studies that look at the roles, attitudes, knowledge, and professional practices of pharmacists in Saudi Arabia as they relate to patient-centered care. This is important for figuring out the attitudes and roles of pharmacists in Saudi Arabia when it comes to taking care of people with diabetes. The study’s results could help improve the way pharmacies work in the country. According to the study, even if pharmacists in Saudi Arabia provide medical counselling and other patient-centered care services, these services have room to expand and develop. This review may be beneficial for policy makers, regulators, pharmacy educators, and academics to learn about community pharmacy in Saudi Arabia. Pharmacy continuing education programs for diabetes patients improve pharmacists’ capacity to counsel patients. This is confirmed by a Canadian study. The study found that pharmacists who had undergone CDE (continuous diabetes education) programs counselled diabetic patients more often than those who had not.

The impact of a motivational intervention to improve the working lives of healthcare workers
Name: Gamar Bander Aldossari
Name: Mona Mubarak Asiri
Abstract
The study’s goal is to determine how well an intervention designed to boost healthcare employees’ morale performs in the workplace. Motivating doctors and nurses is essential for retaining them in the workforce. This leads to better health outcomes for patients and more productivity within healthcare organisations. Financial incentives, social ties, intellectual stimulation, a sense of agency, and a desire to make a difference are some of the most prominent sources of motivation in the nursing profession. Patient outcomes might range from being satisfied with care provided to experiencing symptoms, sickness, and even death. For this study, we relied on the qualitative research approach. This approach allowed the researcher to inductively explore the association between intrinsic motivation and job performance. The questions that can be answered by qualitative research include: who is affected, why, what factors are at play, and whether or not people react or respond similarly. In order to properly characterise, analyse, and explain the relationship between health workers’ intrinsic motivation and their performance on the job. In Ghana, a worker’s motivation is a major role in their output on the job. Healthcare workers discovered that both intrinsic and extrinsic incentive strategies had an impact on the performance of paramedics and medics. Employees who are psychologically and physically well, as well as socially aware, are more likely to be motivated to give their jobs their full attention, which is crucial to the success of any business.

Abstract
The treatment of patients experiencing both acute and chronic pain presents unique challenges. While it is challenging to objectively measure a patient’s subjective experience of pain, common misunderstandings about pain medication may dissuade patients from receiving recommended medicine, both of which can lead to insufficient treatment for patients with acute pain. Furthermore, it may be impossible to return to your regular routine when your injury heals if you are ordered to rest in bed for an extended period of time. In contrast, chronic pain treatment involves much more challenges than dealing with an acute pain situation. The essential principles of this approach need to be operationalized to make it possible to generalise statistically the evidence that is to be calculated quantitatively and the huge samples that are to be used with the results. For this reason, the positivist theoretical framework can be accommodated inside the methodology because it integrates the process of theory evaluation. Treatment decisions are frequently misunderstood, leading to unwarranted or even dangerous measures. Those coping with chronic pain would benefit greatly from better understanding the perspectives and intentions of their physicians, which can only be achieved through open lines of communication between patients and medical staff. This publication supports previous suggestions by demonstrating the value of field testing SDM systems before starting a large-scale clinical trial. This study investigates how patients and healthcare providers view chronic pain and how they might best communicate with one another to alleviate it. Future tool developers may benefit from this study and the knowledge acquired from designing and testing technologies with the patient and doctor in mind. Despite the fact that more development and testing is required to fully assess PainAPP’s impact on patients and physicians, the software is already showing promise.

Abstract
Context: the outlook for kids with type 1 diabetes is dismal. Those who do receive a diagnosis often have a short life expectancy (less than a year). The purpose of this study was to determine what characteristics of children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes were associated with better glucose management.
A hospital-based cross-sectional study was conducted with 76 children and adolescents (41 girls and 35 boys, mean age 15.1 3.1 years) with type 1 diabetes who were enrolled in the “Changing Diabetes in Children” (CDiC) programme and were seen at the clinics for children living with type 1 diabetes.
Results: The study population had a mean HbA1c of 10.3 ± 2.9%. There was a significant decrease in the mean HbA1c from diagnosis (11.1%) to the study period (10.3%) (p = 0.011). Multivariate analysis indicated that having a mother as the primary caregiver (OR 0.02, 95% CI 0.002 – 0.189) and minimal/moderate caregiver involvement in insulin injection (OR 26.8, 95% CI 4.4 – 56.1) were independent predictors of glucose control
smoking hazards

Abstract
Tobacco use is the leading preventable cause of death, disease, and disability worldwide. This is because of the over 4,700 chemical components included in cigarette smoke, including over 200 recognized poisons and 43 confirmed carcinogens (2,8). Cigarette smoking is responsible for around 30% of all malignancies, 80% of chronic bronchitis, and a substantial proportion of emphysema, as well as morbidity related with ischemic heart disease and peripheral vascular disease. Pregnancy-related morbidity and mortality are also increased among smokers.Tobacco usage is the leading cause of death for people who begin smoking in their adult years and do not quit. This is due to the fact that smokers have annual death rates almost three times higher than comparable nonsmokers, especially during middle age (here defined as 30-69 years) (considering differences between smokers and non-smokers in heavy alcohol use, obesity patterns or different educational or economic status). If smokers had the same mortality rates as non-smokers, around two-thirds of their deaths would be prevented. The vast majority of these additional dangers are due to smoking-related illnesses. There is a lot of evidence that smoking is a major cause of death around the world. About five to six million people die every year from smoking (Jha and Peto, 2014). Based on how people smoke now, about a billion people may die from smoking in the 21st century, compared to “only” 100 million deaths in the 20th century (Peto et al., 1994).One hundred million lives have been lost to tobacco use already this century, and another two hundred and fifty million will be lost by 2050. Until 2050, current smokers will account for the vast majority of smoker deaths. Accordingly, decreasing the number of new smokers and encouraging current smokers to give up the habit are two of the most pressing issues in public health today.

The World Health Organization (2021) projects that the proportion of the world’s population aged 60 and older will nearly double from 12% to 22% between 2015 and 2050. This indicates that the rate of growth of the elderly population is significantly faster than in previous eras. As a result, numerous nations encounter substantial challenges pertaining to the well-being of the elderly, necessitating the readiness of social and healthcare infrastructures to capitalize on this demographic transition. As a consequence, certain nations have undertaken the development of technological integrations that enable human interaction, including artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled machines (Oksanen et al., 2020). Hospitals, where the provision of healthcare services can oversaturate staff and lead to a paucity of personnel, find these technologies especially beneficial (Zhao et al. 2022).

The Effectiveness of Using Robots in Facilitating Nursing Operations and Improving the Accuracy of Care
The use of robotic technology into healthcare environments has received considerable interest in recent years due to its potential to transform patient care. An area of investigation that shows great potential is the use of robots in nursing operations. These modern machines are designed to aid healthcare personnel in many aspects of care delivery.
With the rising pressures placed on healthcare systems, particularly due to the increasing prevalence of chronic diseases, there is an urgent need for creative solutions to enhance the delivery of care. Robots possess distinct qualities that can enhance the capacities of human healthcare practitioners, encompassing the automation of repetitive chores and the provision of accurate data collecting and analysis. Healthcare organizations aim to enhance the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, quality, and safety of patient care by utilizing robotics technology.
The percentage of the world’s population aged 60 and more will nearly double, from 12% to 22%, between 2015 and 2050, according to the World Health Organization (WHO, 2021). That the population is getting older is evident from the fact that it is growing at a far faster rate than it has in the past. Therefore, making sure that health and social systems are ready to capitalize on this demographic change is a major worry for many countries when it comes to the healthy living of older adults. Because of this, several nations have integrated technologies that can communicate with humans, including AI-enabled robots (Oksanen et al., 2020). When there is a general scarcity of healthcare staff due to high demand for healthcare, these technologies come in handy in hospital settings.

The impact of Nutrition on the risk of chronic diseases
Amidst a time when chronic illnesses provide a substantial worldwide health challenge, comprehending the complex connection between diet and the risk of disease has become of utmost importance. Chronic diseases, often known as long-term conditions requiring continuous medical treatment, encompass ailments like cardiovascular disorders, malignancies, diabetes mellitus, and Alzheimer’s disease. Furthermore, these disorders are among the primary factors contributing to mortality on a global scale. Although genetic predispositions and environmental variables contribute to the development of diseases, there is increasing evidence highlighting the significant influence of nutrition on the risk of chronic diseases (Gropper, 2023).
Nutrition is a fundamental aspect of health that significantly impacts physiological processes, immunological function, and metabolic pathways. Our foods contain vital nutrients, antioxidants, and bioactive chemicals that can support good health or make persons more susceptible to disease. Nutrition plays a significant role in the onset and progression of certain chronic ailments, such as obesity, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, stroke, type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, certain malignancies, and maybe some neurological disorders. Furthermore, the presence of a certain medical disease frequently leads to the emergence of additional medical conditions. For instance, obesity or excessive body weight/fat might increase the likelihood of developing conditions such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension, metabolic syndrome, and certain malignancies (Ojo, & Adegboye, 2023).

Optimizing Perioperative Nursing Care in Oral Surgery
Oral surgery is a branch of dentistry and surgical medicine that treats diseases and disorders of the mouth, jaw, and face through a wide range of treatments. Oral surgery is crucial for patients’ overall oral health, pain relief, function restoration, and cosmetics, whether it’s a simple tooth extraction or a sophisticated maxillofacial reconstruction.
Dental professionals, anesthesiologists, perioperative nurses, and oral and maxillofacial surgeons are all integral parts of oral surgery, making it a distinct medical specialty in healthcare. Every member of the multidisciplinary team works together to provide patients with the high-quality care they need, according to their specific requirements.
Delivering top-notch perioperative nursing care is essential for the outcome of any oral surgery procedure. Perioperative nurses are essential cogs in the wheel of surgery, coordinating everything from preoperative evaluation and planning to intraoperative assistance and postoperative care. Care for the whole person, including their mental, emotional, and social health, falls under their purview, going beyond only technical duties.

Evaluating nurses’ performance in Medication Administration & Medication errors
In primary care settings, problems with patient safety often arise during the drug and diagnosis processes. It is widely recognized that adverse events associated with medicine delivery pose a substantial risk to patient safety in general. The time structure of a nurse’s workday is shaped by the complex blend of activities and responsibilities associated with medication delivery.
Several variables impact the secure administration of medication. There is a debate on whether registered nurses (RN) possess adequate knowledge and skills to effectively and safely manage drugs. Some argue that risk-inducing behavior and disruptions, as well as the use of technology, design problems, time restrictions, poor communication, lack of leadership, and obsolete regulations and guidelines contribute to the normalization of these issues Sectors with a high patient volume, such emergency rooms and intensive care units (ICUs), have a higher medication error incidence. As an example, determining the infusion drop rate is often necessary for patients hospitalized to intensive care units who are given medication intravenously. Contrarily, these patients are often asleep or in poor health, making it impossible for them to track and report any negative drug effects. Consequently, there can be a rise in pharmaceutical mistakes in these industries, which could bear devastating fruit (Fathy, A. S. M., et al., 2020).
