Abstract
Lifestyle changes, dietary shifts, and other factors have contributed to an uptick in disease and disorder incidence alongside the development of new technologies and medical treatments. Because many dental operations can be stressful for patients, it’s important to understand their health so that any potential adverse effects can be mitigated. This is especially true for patients whose health is already precarious. Dental implants, tooth extractions, and jaw surgeries all carry the danger of bleeding, which can be fatal for patients with bleeding problems; an overdose of laxatives can bring on an epileptic seizure; and many other complications that necessitate careful medical and dental management. It is the responsibility of the dentist to be familiar with these disorders and to know how to manage them in the dental operatory; in this article, we will provide a quick overview of dental management in medically impaired patients

Abstract
Investing in children and teenagers pays off in the long run. Taking care of children and teenagers is, therefore, an investment in creating the best possible social environment for the future. It is estimated that between 10 and 15 percent of today’s kids are living with a chronic illness. One of the chronic diseases listed is thalassemia major. An absence of globin chains in the haemoglobin molecule causes the symptoms of thalassemia, a genetic blood illness, including severe and persistent anaemia, failure to thrive, hepatosplenomegaly, and bone deformities. These people are particularly vulnerable to the negative consequences that painful, prolonged, and repetitive treatment regimens can have on their physical health, mental health, and quality of life. The study’s overarching goal was to ascertain the quality of life of children with major beta thalassemia, and its results indicated that these children had a higher-than-average quality of life in terms of their physical, mental, and environmental health, but a lower-than-average quality of life in terms of their relationships with other people. Research examined how cranial and facial deformities affect mental health. In order to improve these patients’ quality of life, organisations with the power to do so are asked to pay more attention to a wide range of factors. In addition to consulting experts, patients and their loved ones need to be educated on the issue.

THE IMPACT OF NUTRITIONAL INTERVENTIONS ON THE OUTCOMES OF MALNOURISHED OLDER PATIENTS IN ACUTE HOSPITAL SETTINGs
Name: Farj Alatwi
Email: F1_u@hotmail.com
Abstract
Background: Hospitalized seniors are malnourished. Hospital malnutrition causes infections, functional decline, muscle loss, poor wound healing, longer stays, pressure ulcers, and greater morbidity and mortality. Nutritional therapy reduce malnutrition-related consequences, morbidity, and hospitalization. To improve outcomes, hospitalized malnourished patients need nutritional therapy..
Aim: To seek and aggregate research on the effects of nutritional therapies on malnourished older people in acute hospital settings.
Methods: Secondary data analysis of 2014–2019 nursing literature from PubMed, Medline, The Lancet, CINAHL, Web of science, Wiley library, and ERIC databases found relevant papers. The unlimited search yielded 13,457 English-language research studies. 7 research publications fulfilled inclusion requirements after a thorough quality review.
Results: Patient education, dietary modification, oral nutrition supplement, enteral feeding, and parenteral feeding improved body weight, nutritional and functional status, muscle strength, health outcomes, complications, and mortality in malnourished older hospital patients. Oral nutritional supplements and diet adjustments caused weight growth and weight reduction. Dietary adjustments, enteral feeding, and oral nutritional supplements reduce hospitalization, death, and clinical outcomes.
Conclusion: Oral nutritional supplements, screening, and instruction helped malnourished older hospital patients. Thus, hospital management, nurses, and other health professionals should collaborate to adopt nutritional interventions to combat malnutrition

’Effects of General Anesthesia on the Neurocognitive Development of the Fetus during Pregnancy

Abstract
The effects of general anesthesia on the developing brain continue to be a major concern in the medical community and among the general public, with the majority of studies focusing on infants and children. In recent years, as a result of the continual advancement of medical technology, the number of surgeries performed during pregnancy has increased; yet, there are relatively few research on general anesthesia during pregnancy. The FDA has issued a warning that general anaesthetic use during pregnancy may have negative effects on the developing brain of the baby. This review reviews methodically the evidence supporting this warning. From their creation until April 2020, PubMed, EMBASE, and Web of Science were queried. Both preclinical and clinical research was admissible. Studies both preclinical and clinical were accepted. The researchers ruled out case reports, in vitro models, long-term exposures, and prenatal exposures. The impact on learning and memory as a whole was viewed as the most important finding. Markers of neuronal injury (such as apoptosis, synapse formation, neurone density, and proliferation) and subgroup analyses were considered secondary outcomes. Preclinical studies consistently demonstrate that anaesthetics cause neurotoxicity during pregnancy.

The role of nurses in providing medical services in health care centers.
The nursing profession in Saudi Arabia has made considerable strides in terms of education, workforce education, and clinical practice. In Saudi Arabia, there is a continuing shortage of nurses who are native to the country. As a result of the scarcity, as well as the enormous growth that has occurred in both the public and commercial healthcare businesses, there has been an increase in the demand for nurses from other countries. Almost all of the nursing staff in Saudi Arabia is comprised of individuals from other countries. A complete analysis of the nursing profession in Saudi Arabia is provided in this report. Topics covered include the profession’s historical foundation, educational advancements, workforce challenges, and professional standards. According to Almalki et al. (2011)

The effectiveness of fluoride varnish and fissure sealant in decreasing caries risk: A systematic review
Vital for prioritising preventive measures at the local level, determining the efficacy of these measures requires evaluation. To that end, we set out to thoroughly review the literature on how fluoride varnish and fissure sealant affect dental caries in kids aged 6–12. We used the terms “fluoride varnish,” “fissure sealant,” “caries,” and “oral health” to search the databases PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science, the Cochrane Library, and Scopus. Our article search will cover the years 2000 through December 2020. The meta-analysis was conducted with the help of the CMA software version 2 (Comprehensive Meta-Analysis). This study compared two intervention groups, fluoride varnish and fissure sealants, to a control group. There were nine total studies incorporated. There were 84,380 participants in the intervention group and 11,254 in the control group. Randomized clinical trials (RCTs) and field RCTs accounted for eight of the studies, while the remaining two were non-RCTs. Four of the varnishes were entirely effective, one was ineffective, and all four were effective as a Fissure Sealant in the trial. Indexes for decaying, missing, and filled permanent teeth (DMFT) and primary teeth (dmfp) differed significantly between intervention and comparison groups. In addition, the mean DMFT differences between the treatment and control groups were 0.55 and 0.29 for fluoride varnish and fissure sealant, respectively (P=0.00). Health goals of societies and health systems treatments in countries can include fissure sealant and fluoride varnish because of their effectiveness in avoiding dental caries in children aged 6-12 years.

Health effects of using modern technological technologies opportunities and challenges
We can see that, over the course of the last 20 years, cutting-edge technology has significantly impacted our world. Many individuals benefit from it: technology corporations frequently create new technological processes, which are then used as the foundation for expert engineers to renovate contemporary technical programs, apps, and equipment. People’s quality of life is impacted by the use of these technologies.
The knowledge and information society cannot exist without technologies. The information society is bringing us significant new technology advancements in a variety of professional fields, and by raising people’s standard of living, it is influencing health promotion.
A contemporary phenomenon brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic is our continual access to the virtual world through contemporary technologies, which supposed to simplify our daily activities. To be honest, not everyone feels comfortable in the increasingly virtual world of schools, education, training, health, and employment .
